These Terms of Use govern your use of GladRoTools (the “Application”), a macOS application developed by Dmytro Gladkyi (“Developer”, “I”, “me”). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
Description of Service
GladRoTools is a companion application for Roblox Studio that connects to your local Roblox Studio session to provide asset browsing, image and video tools, performance auditing, and other game development utilities. The Application communicates with a bundled Studio plugin over a local TCP connection and may interact with Roblox APIs using credentials you provide.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Application. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have a parent or guardian’s consent to use the Application and agree to these terms on your behalf.
Roblox OAuth 2.0
The Application may offer sign-in via Roblox OAuth 2.0. By authenticating through Roblox, you authorize the Application to access certain information from your Roblox account on your behalf. The specific permissions requested will be displayed on the Roblox authorization screen at the time of sign-in. You may revoke this access at any time through your Roblox account security settings.
Your Roblox credentials are never seen or stored by the Application. Authentication is handled entirely by Roblox, and the Application only receives an access token that it stores locally on your device.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Application in compliance with Roblox’s Terms of Use and all applicable laws.
- Not use the Application to violate Roblox’s Community Standards or to create, distribute, or promote malicious scripts, exploits, or harmful content.
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application, except as permitted by applicable law.
- Not use the Application in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality.
Intellectual Property
The Application, including its code, design, and documentation, is owned by the Developer and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application for its intended purpose.
All Roblox-related trademarks, assets, and intellectual property remain the property of Roblox Corporation. The Application is an independent third-party tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation.
Subscription and Payments
GladRoTools offers both free features and a premium subscription tier (GladRoTools Pro). Subscription management and payment processing are handled entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation policies are governed by Apple’s App Store Terms and Conditions. The Developer does not receive or store your payment information.
A free trial period may be offered. You may cancel at any time through your App Store account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of the current billing period.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR COMPATIBLE WITH ALL VERSIONS OF ROBLOX STUDIO OR macOS.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APPLICATION IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Third-Party Services
The Application interacts with third-party services, including Roblox APIs, Roblox CDN, and Apple App Store services. The Developer is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
Termination
The Developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Application or any feature at any time without notice. Upon termination of your license, you must cease all use of the Application and delete all copies from your devices.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Application or the Mac App Store listing. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ukraine.
