TL;DR
New resources added: planks and charcoal. Charcoal is needed in every building that works with metal. Planks are needed for levels 2-3 of some buildings.
Carts added. They are a bit expensive, but they let you gather a huge amount of resources from the map in one go.
New resource added: grain. It is harvested in the field (previously you harvested food directly). Take it to the mill and turn it into food. Grain is also needed for raising horses.
Where to get the game?
The game is available online: https://locadeserta.com/sloboda/, but be careful - development builds are published there.
Release builds of the game are available on the Google Play Store: Wild Fields: Sloboda
You can also download the APK and Windows builds directly from GitHub:

Carts
You can use carts to gather resources on the map. They can carry a huge amount of resources in one trip, so to speed up production in your sloboda it’s best to build a few carts.
Carts are made at the cartwright’s workshop:

Carts aren’t cheap to make, but they speed up your development.
Planks
Levels 2-3 of some buildings now require planks. Planks are produced at the sawmill, and you need wood for that:

Charcoal
Charcoal is required by every building that works with metal in any way. Charcoal is produced at the charcoal burner’s. To get it, you need to burn wood down into charcoal:

Metal
Now, instead of using ore directly, you first have to smelt it into metal parts. A new building, the Smelter, was made exactly for that:

All buildings that used to work with ore now require metal parts. Ore is only needed for smelting metal parts.
Grain
Grain is harvested in the field, and then it has to be taken to the mill and turned into food:

Gathering resources on the map
You can now also send carts out to gather resources on the map:
